McGill Motorsport now offer as part of their Batteries range the Varley Red Top Replacement Brass terminal cones to convert Varley Red Top batteries to standard automotive posts. This is suitable for all models with M6 male or female terminals (thread is removable) excluding the Lithium Li-5.

It is correct that the positive terminal has a slightly larger diameter than the negative terminal.
