The WRC Des is by far the most futuristic helmet on the market and much stronger, now having passed the latest FIA8859-15 and Snell SA2020 safety standard. For events in Europe the FIA homologations have more priority than Snell, although in the United States Snell is the only recognised standard. Please note that the previous FIA8858-10 and Snell SA2010 model WRC Des is still an eligible helmet and currently does not have an expiry date and is eligible for use with a FHR device. The Des range of helmets are the only helmets that has additional EPS cheek pads offering superior cheek area protection that is not available with any other brand.
