Machined Housing for Spherical Bearing
McGill GEK-T Teflon Lined Series Bearings have 3 components; the ball, the liner and the outer race. The ball is inserted into the body and the body is then swaged around the ball to lock it in and it is then loosened to allow it to move. The body is made from Carbon Steel, the ball is hard chrome plated. These bearings are ideal for use in areas which require a tight fitted ball. These bearings are ideal for use in areas where the joint is constantly in motion as the liner insures the ball moves freely without any knocking or play being induced. These are commonly used in motorsport and on industrial equipment. These joints do not require lubrication.

To complement these Bearings, we have a range of other products available in our online store. We supply hardware for most sizes of bearing.
*These items are designed for use in oval racing, these are not a press fitting and are therefore unsuitable for rally and road applications*
These spherical bearing housings have been designed to allow use of our bearings in a wishbone. The bearing slots into the housing and a circlip holds it in place. These housings are weldable, allowing them to be constructed in part of a wishbone affair.
*Please note: Care should be taken to ensure that the lipped section is acting in the direction against the main force attempting to pull the bearing out when the vehicle is in use. The circlip is only there to hold the self weight of the bearing. *
