Residual Pressure Valve for Drum Brake Systems - 10 PSI

These residual pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel in both disc and drum brake systems. The 10 PSI valve is used in drum brake applications where the valve is used to compensate for return spring tension and to maintain wheel cylinder sealing inside the drums.

DESIGN

• Made from billet aluminium
• Annodised silver
• M10 x 1mm thread - industry standard thread type for brake systems
• Tapered end is the outlet
• Factory set pressure of 10PSI
• Single flare

USE

• Install the valve as close as possible in line to the master cylinder to ensure as much of the line as possible is pressurised
• Enhances brake performance as it holds a constant pressure in the brake line, ready for the system to be activated
• Greatly aids turning under braking
