These STR heavy duty wire towing eyes are MSA and FIA regulation Q19.1.13 compliant and the perfect solution for the recovery of a motorsport vehicle. Designed to be mounted securely to the vehicle chassis, front or rear sub frame or something of similar strength of your race / rally car with the large (60mm internal diameter) loop protruding through the bumper or grill. The wire towing eye needs to be secured with a M14 or 1/2" (minimum grade 8.8) fixing nut and bolt and two flat washers. There is a high visibility soft material tag attached to the loop as required to enable marshalls to retrieve it in case it drops inside the bumper or grill.
